INTRODUCING CLUE CLUB - 15/11/2016

January of next year brings a new project from Clue Records named 'Clue Club'.'

Clue Records was started by Scott Lewis who when talking about 'Clue Club' said 'finding new bands and artists to enjoy and fall in love with is one of the main reasons Clue was started. We've created Clue Club so we can do this with a small group of people, matching ace bands with artistic visions to create something fun and exciting. A zine allows the bands and artists to show a different dimension to their music and themselves'.

Clue Club will work on a subscription basis and will cost £28.99 per annum (less than £2.50 per month) and postage & packaging will be free for UK subscribers.

The subscription is limited to 100 people so you should definitely be fast about signing up.

Subscribing to Clue Club entitles you to:
One 16 page, A5 zine each month
A digital download from the featured artist each month
An exclusive podcast feature on each act involved
Exclusive offers & discounts for Clue Records releases & merch throughout the year
An exclusive Clue Club t-shirt
A Clue Club tote bag

The first edition of the new project will include:
Team Picture - A fuzzed up, kraut-psych behemoth that have been catching eyes & ears in Leeds and further afield.
Fold - Falling somewhere between DJ Shadow, Public Enemy and Public Service Broadcasting. Fold can name Gideon Coe, Lauren Laverne, Craig Charles, Don Letts & Huey Morgan as fans with all 3 regularly spinning tracks by the band on their own BBC 6 Music shows.
Fighting Caravans - With Reading and Leeds & several UK and European tours completed in 2016, the alt-blues-psych band will be releasing an EP late April.
Colour of Spring - Giving shoegaze a shot in the arm with comparisons to the likes of Ride, The Smiths & Lush this band sold out their debut 7'' vinyl purely from pre-orders.
SUNFACE - The solo project of TRASH frontman Daniel Longmore. The songs are recorded in his bedroom and living room and through this project he has had lots of BBC Radio 1 and Amazing Radio support too.

You should definitely think fast about making a subscription to this project because there is a 100 person subscription limit.

To celebrate the launch of this project, Clue Records and House of Love Studios are hosting a Christmas Party in their home city of Leeds at which nine bands shall be performing.

Already confirmed are TRASH, Colour of Spring, Avalanche Party, Lull, Bruja and Abdomen with the rest to be announced in the run up to the show.

The 'Clue Club Christmas Party' will be taking place on Saturday 10th December at Brudenell Social Club and tickets for this event will be £8 so yes, you will be paying less than £1 per band - A BARGAIN.

Doors for this show are going to be at 1:30pm and the age restriction is 14+.

The show will also give bands and artists the chance to submit their music.

Both this event and the project will be seeing out 2016 and bringing in 2017 in fabulous fashion so you should definitely get to this 'Clue Club Christmas Show' and subscribe to Clue Club, in my opinion both of these are being offered at prices which are way less than they should be!

You can buy tickets for the Clue Club Christmas Party here or here!

Subscriptions for Clue Club can be made here!
